We build software for specific industries, where generic tools fall short.
Alambic / Principle
Specific problems deserve specific software.
We work mostly with small businesses, micro-enterprises and sole traders. That is where off-the-shelf software fails hardest: it either misses what you actually need, or does so much that nobody uses it — and charges for everything left over.
How it goes
- 3 to 7 weeks
Discovery
We find out how things work today — who does what, where time is lost, what is still on paper — and show you the screens before a line of code exists. Anything can change while changing is still cheap.
- 8 to 16 weeks
Build
The system grows in usable pieces, already connected to what you use: invoicing, accounting, whatever it is. At the end of each piece there is something working — not a promise for next month.
- 1 to 2 weeks
Go-live
Validated by your people, in the real workflow, with your data, before it replaces anything. Whatever is wrong shows up here, not on your first day of use.
- Ongoing
Support
Training, documentation, and someone on the other end when you need it. Software does not end the day it is installed — and neither do we.
From the first conversation to going live, three to six months. These are ranges, not promises: they depend on what the first phase finds, and we would rather say so up front than discover it halfway through.
